About this product
For Lord Shiva Idol, both a dhoti and an angavastra are worn. The velvet fabric has a deerskin print on it. He holds a club with a skull at the end, a deerskin, a trident, a small hand drum, and a garland of skulls and a serpent in each of his two (sometimes four) hands.
Shiva is known as a Kapalika ("Skull-Bearer") and the skull alludes to a time when he severed the fifth head of Brahma.
